Emanuela Barbi

Emanuela Barbi was born in Pescara in 1966; she lives and works in Italy. She studied photography at the Istituto d’Arte di Pescara. For many years she has worked as a photographer, while also managing an exhibition space for contemporary photography. She has taken part in many exhibitions and collaborations, and has developed and presented educational programs in state schools and has also directed training courses. Currently, she is researching issues of space and time in photography, through installations and interventions, actions, performance, and video.
