Jack Davidson

Jack Davidson grew up in the north-east of Scotland where he recieved a B.A. in drawing and painting at Gray's School of Art, Robert Gordon's University of Aberdeen in 1981. After living in London in the early 80's he moved to New York in 1986, and since 2001 lives and works in Barcelona, Spain. Recent shows include “no sign of heaven here” at Galeria Fidel Balaguer, Barcelona; “let your light in, babe” at Rose Burlingham/Living Room Gallery, New York; “Works on Paper”, a three-person show with Laurie Reid and John Zurier at Pulliam Gallery, Portland Oregon; and the Project Room at Dinter Fine Art, New York. He is also co-director of JiM Contemporani, an independent, not-for-profit, artists' project space in Barcelona.
