Emily Wilson

Emily Wilson is a visual artist and writer. From University of California at Berkeley Wilson received a BA in English in 1983, and, in 1987, an MFA in Painting, along with the Eisner and Murphy Prizes. She has shown at The Lab, San Francisco; Pulliam-Deffenbaugh in Portland, Oregon; Marjorie Wood Gallery (online) and Second Floor Projects in San Francisco; she has published with Bent Boy Books, and read at Adobe, Artifact, and New Langton. Wilson recently completed Failure: A Novel, and is revising a collection of stories about her apartment. She is an MFA Fiction Candidate at San Francisco State and an Affiliate at the Headlands Center for the Arts.
